The Board of Control for Cricket in India has named three umpires for the ICC Elite Panel. There is, so far, not a single Indian in the current 10-member Elite Panel. Besides S Venkataraghavan, the former Indian offspinner, no other Indian umpire has ever figured in the Elite Panel.
